Sweating It Out At Samanvay

With the event just around 48 hours away, the college is indulging itself in some quite efficient work. Moods in the campus are up beat. People can be seen dancing their way into the washrooms. (They have not gone mad...the cultural reps want a good show to be put up, hence are breathing down people's necks. No offence meant)

The Gulmohar reps are clad in different colors which have managed to find a permanent places on their frames on accord of the decoration work they are indulging themselves in.

The Logistics team is up-beat at the prospect of being up the entire night and making plans to make sure everything is planned to the T

The Hospitality rep can be seen moving around the hostel corridors asking people to vacate their rooms. He has made sure there are couple of "Roomers"(Term for people who help in vacating hostel rooms. Not in anyway related to a "bouncer") following him to every room.

The Alumni reps are frantic and are on the brink of insanity. Although from the looks of it everything is going well they want more perfection to be infused into anything and everything that is a part of the event!!!I really fail to understand how this can be done. But seems they have a way out, or perhaps a way in!!!

People can be seen discussing in low pitches,huddled together, how they can do their part better. I am continually hearing voices discussing apparel selection.

Seniors offering useful advices on how to do it in a better way, lending a hand at more instances than one, is quite encouraging. The camaraderie between the batches pleases me.

All i can say is that both the batches are making quite a effort at making sure the event sees more than fireworks exploding. We eagerly await the arrival of alumni onto the campus.

Thank you for one and all for putting in the effort!!!

P.S:--News Update:---"Jolly-the Doggy" gave birth to 2 pups "yesternight". The pups faced some problems during their birth but presently are doing great. Attention is being diverted periodically from the preparations as students crowd around the mother and the pups making sure they are comfortable and well-fed. It pleases me to see this more than anything.

Lovingly Yours ;

KIAMS RECONNECTED!!!

This blog has been initiated by the present batches of KIAMS, with the purpose of reconnecting all the alumni, bringing all of us,alumni and the present students, to one common platform. This blog looks to keep you,i.e all the alumni, updated about everything happening in the campus(Good, Bad and the ugly). For we believe that although you have left the college to become managers of the highest decree("Hierarchy" in managerial terms), in your heart still exists a very special place for KIAMS. KIAMS remembers you everyday and the most used word within the campus is "Alumni"(Preceding "Holistic development","Entrepreneur","Pragati", in that order).

We want to share our experiences of what transpires within the campus. We would love to know of yours outside it.The blog is different as it is a interactive one. The very existence and the success of this endeavor depends on the inputs you give to us. we sincerely request you to share your points of view, experiences, memorable moments etc with us on the blog. You can send in the posts to kiamshrr@gmail.com which shall be published on the blog within 24 hours of you sending it.

We wish to grow with your support and learn more about how life treated you once you went to shape your lives.
KIAMS call you back this time on a online platform to reconnect!!!
The hive beckons...

P.S:--One secret aim of this blog is for us learn from "alumni" hence achieving "holistic development" so that we can open up the possibility of becoming "entrepreneurs" and come someday to "pragti" to buy the platinum stall(1,50,000/- presently).
