A Journey of 7.5 Months

The journey started with some unique ‘rotunda sessions’, convent like rules and useful or somewhat painful ( obviously not physical) tasks( sometimes weird also) . The journey experiences a halt today ( I wont say it is over) with love, emotion, admiration and tears.

The 1st station offered the buddy sessions, buddy dinners. Now, is the time to give some gifts with some mesmerising memories to you buddies.

The next station came with the initiation of the budding manager building course (the actual reason to board the train), getting tips, helps, suggestions, old papers, slides, assignments.

This journey sometimes changed the taste of some unpalatable foods. The midnight chats, the boys` night at boys hostel ( upss, I never witnessed it), a bit of romance, a lot of learning and guidance ………….. and two important junctions disguised in two memorable tour on the lap of the nature (Jog falls and Kemmanagundi).

Now, when you look behind, each of your co-passengers has already left or leaving shortly, the dining hall does not resonate with some familiar noise. There are lesser number of chairs in the triangle, the love lane does not experience the intimacy of few familiar couples. Firoz bhai has stopped credit sales, Raghu bhai prepares lesser number of plates of maggi everyday, Bhuti Sir observes an almost vacant volley ball court.

From now…….. the dance floor will shake itself with some new tunes ( it never got bored with ‘sutta’ or ‘pyaar hum e kis mor pe le aaya’ ), The recreation room will not vibrate with some familiar yelling, the culturals will miss one mesmerising singer, the man with always fine-tuned strings, few male Shakiras and female Prabhu Devas…..

Because your co-passengers have reached their destinations.

Life@triangle. . .

As i’ll leave this campus tonite, i realize that i will be passing by the triangle for the last time as a student, and this reminds me of various memories that i have attached to the triangle. In school i learned about triangle – a shape that is made up of three lines, that’s it, but when i came to KIAMS i learned new meaning which i would carry with me rest of my life. Here at KIAMS i learned Triangle KIAMS is the most happening place; there is always a hustle-bustle here, a place to hang out. Triangle has played different role in different occasions, becoming a dining room for us at 9.30am breakfast time, a place to gossip and a place to share entire day’s happenings at tea time at night. Triangle is our dance floor, it makes our evening rocking, a stage for all the parties, triangle also gives shelter to us when we don’t get GD rooms to study, we sit at triangle and make it our meeting room, our chamber. Triangle - a place to interact, share, have fun and learn, all in one... at triangle i have numerous memories attached to, it reminds me of our fresher’s party, where we rocked in the KIAMS for the very first time, the times when we sat every night at tea time and discussed everything, endless talking sessions...enjoyed them like anything, guitar nights are sure a memory that i will cherish, where batch gets together and sing their hearts out, studying at triangle in cold nights shivering and having hot coffee,,, will remember everything.... will miss everything.... for sure TRIANGLE Rocks.... !
